It's official - HAPPY SUMMER!! Yay!
First I have to congratulate my daughter, Eliza - she just graduated from high-school, and is now going on to the next phase of adventures in her life - she is planning on going into nursing, and will be starting work on her R.N. degree in the fall - we are very excited for her, and so incredibly PROUD! Eliza, you are an AWESOME, INCREDIBLE young woman, and we are so blessed to have you! (I'm not sure how often she visits my blog, but I'll be pointing her to this post.) ;)
So, we had the big Graduation Party on Saturday afternoon, and were happy to have a GLORIOUS, beautiful day - Yay!! (cuz I don't know where I would have put all those people, if we had needed to be inside, instead of the back yard, where we had everything set up! LOL!) The tacos-in-a-bag that we served were a big hit, as where the 10-dozen (or so) cupcakes in chocolate, strawberry, white, lemon, and brownies! If you've never had tacos-in-a-bag, here's the low-down: Get Nacho-cheese flavored Doritos, in individual bags - everyone grabs their own bag, crush the chips a bit before opening, then just add your taco-meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour-cream, black-olives, taco-sauce, onions, etc. - whatever you want to put in your bag - then stir it up with spoon or fork and eat it right out of the bag! We have these at my mom's summer lake-home a lot in the summer, and they are so yummy!
One of the really fun things about the graduation party was that all kinds of people were busy looking at our family scrapbooks - it really was fun to get the feedback, and hear how people liked them! I think scrapbooking (and especially DIGI-scrapping!) are one of the most rewarding of hobbies - with such a terrific end result that will be treasured for years to come, and possibly even generations to come!
And now I'm excited to show you my newest collection - Celebrate Summer! AND I'll have a little freebie for you somewhere in this post... and there will be ANOTHER coordinating freebie very soon, in one of my shops! (I'll post again to let you know when that one is up!)
SO, I LOVE summer! All 39 days of it, here in North-Western MinneSNOWta!! Haha! I'm living in the wrong CLIMATE! LOL!
Actually, we do get more than 39 days, but it sure seems that short most of the time! Anyway, I just finished a fun Collection in honor of Summer - and it is a pretty big set! The Combo-kit includes 12 fun multi-color patterned papers and 8 textured solids (very much like Bazil® cardstock, for you paper-scrappers and former paper-scrappers), along with over 70 elements, plus an included alpha with upper-case letters, numbers, and fun extras as well. (You can see a full listing of elements in my ScrapDish shop and my SunShineStudioScraps shop - links up at top of page). There is also (sold separately) at "Shabby Solids" paper-pack, which includes 8 shabby solids, in both the full 12-inch size, and each paper is also offered in a shabby-edged .png format as well, for a total of 16. And if you just want one part (or 2...), you can grab each part separately as well. SO, here are some previews:
(You can click on any of these images to see them full-size)
And lastly, here are the Shabby Solids:
Now, all parts of the Collection are on special introductory price SPECIAL, 25% off, for the next 3 days in my ScrapDish and Sun shops - after that they will go to regular price. They are not yet available at MyMemories, but when they are, they will also be on intro-special, 25% off, for one week. I will post again when they go live at MyMemories.com.
As a visitor to my blog, I have a special COUPON for you, to get another 15% off! Coupon is valid in my shops at ScrapDish.com and at SunShineStudioScraps.com. Here's the code: Celebrate15off!
(note that the exclamation mark IS part of the coupon code). And you can use the coupon for ANYTHING in my shop at SD and Sun! Coupon expires June 30th at midnight, but you may want to use it quicker, while the special intro-price sale is on too - for spectacular savings! :)AND, lastly, here is the first FREEBIE for you:
You can find the freebie here:

Now, sometime within the next short while (I'm not exactly sure when), I will have ANOTHER coordinating freebie for you (a bigger one!), hosted by MyMemories.com - so I will post again here when that one is live. Hope you enjoy the samplers! :)

Congrats to your daughter on the high school graduation and the decision to become a nurse.
COOOOOOOL!!!! Love the flip-flops! Thanks for sharing this great freebie with us! I appreciate your generosity!
Lovely kit, thank you!
HI! Love this kit, but when I tried to order tonight, it said it was on sale for 8% off, not 25%. It was for 1 week correct?
Thanks!
Hi Sunny, I just tried to post a reply at your blog, but I'm not sure if it went through, so hopefully you'll see this one. The 25% was just for 3 days, BUT I have coupon available right now that is good for 50% off! Coupon code = CelebrateSummer. Expires June 15th at midnight. Good at both ScrapDish.com and SunShineStudioScraps.com
Hope that helps! :)
Thanks so very much for the freebie...I absolutely L-O-V-E the flip flops! That seems to be my "latest thing" that I search for in summer kits. :) We also have those "tacos-in-a-bag"...we call them walking tacos here in PA. And you are so right...they're AWESOME!
Thanks for the awesome freebie! Love the direct download also!
Thanks so much !:)
